  • We care for all our residents and each other.
  • We take ownership of issues and actively seek solutions.
  • We work as a team to build a culture of inclusion and respect for all.
  • We recognise everyone’s individuality and treat them with dignity and compassion.

Our History

Seabank House’s roots go back to 1862, when it began as the Home for the Rescue of Fallen Females in Aberdeen. With generous support, it relocated to a property known as Seabank House and functioned as an inebriate reformatory for women, before adapting in 1921 into a training hostel for teenage girls, accommodating up to 24 residents Children's Homes . Although the original building no longer exists, the spirit of support and transformation continued under the same name.

Fast forward to 1990, when Seabank House was formally incorporated as a private limited company by guarantee focused on health and residential care services.

Today, this legacy of care survives in two staffed homes — Seabank House, supporting up to 19 residents, and Aberlea House, a smaller community-based service for 5 more — offering 24/7 support, life-skills training, and a nurturing, homely environment.
